Atmosphere.
Ambient, task and accent light work together to give a space depth. We consider how those layers support the moments that happen there, from a quiet evening to a shared meal.

About Archilight / Our approach
We bring together architectural and decorative lighting for spaces in New Zealand.
Our starting point is simple: how a space is used, and how you want it to feel. From a single reading light to a coordinated collection of fittings, we help connect that idea with the details of product selection.

Our perspective
Light changes the way we experience a room. It brings out the grain of timber, softens an edge and makes everyday tasks more comfortable. It can make a place feel intimate, focused or open.
At Archilight, we consider the fitting and the effect together. Shape, finish and scale matter, alongside where the light falls, how it is controlled and how it works with the architecture around it.
Our collections span decorative lighting, architectural systems, desk and piano lighting, linear light and outdoor fittings, with switches and controls completing the experience. The aim is a considered relationship between light, material and everyday life.

Ambient, task and accent light work together to give a space depth. We consider how those layers support the moments that happen there, from a quiet evening to a shared meal.
Light should support the way you live and work. We consider glare, brightness and colour temperature, with control that lets the atmosphere adapt to different tasks and times of day.
Colour temperature, glare, beam angle, finish and control all influence the result. A beautiful fitting should also suit its location and the way it will be used.

From idea to selection
You might arrive with an architectural plan, a reference image or simply a corner that needs better light. We welcome the conversation at any of those starting points.
We can help you explore suitable products and understand the options. Dimensions, mounting, output, colour temperature and control compatibility turn an initial preference into a more informed selection.
Product specifications and installation requirements should be confirmed for the exact model, with your designer or qualified installer where needed.
