About this policy
This policy covers the Archilight information website and enquiries sent to Archilight. Archilight does not collect order or payment details through this website. Our retailer is the seller and handles information provided to it for purchases and after-sales support under its own privacy policy. Enquiries & information you choose to send
The enquiry tool uses your name, phone number, email address, company name (if provided), project type, product interests and message to deliver your enquiry to [email protected] when you select Send enquiry. These details are transmitted over HTTPS to our server and processed by Mailgun to deliver the email. We use your email address as the reply address. We temporarily process your IP address to limit abusive submissions; the application does not store enquiry bodies in its logs. The form confirms acceptance for delivery only after the email provider accepts the message. Information is provided voluntarily; without sufficient contact or project details, we may be unable to answer your request. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information or another person’s details without their permission.
How enquiry information is used
We use information you send to respond, discuss your project, check product or technical requirements and maintain the related correspondence. We do not treat an enquiry as consent to receive unrelated marketing. If a supplier needs identifiable project details to assist, we will explain the proposed sharing and seek your agreement where required. Email providers process messages as part of delivering and storing correspondence; disclosure may also occur where required or permitted by law.
Saved selections & shared links
The Vimar selection tool saves product identifiers and quantities in your browser’s local storage so you can return to your selection. It does not need your name or email to do this. You can remove saved selections by clearing this site’s browser data. A shared configuration link contains selection information; anyone you give the link to can view that selection. Sharing the link does not itself send an enquiry to Archilight.
Website delivery, cookies & third-party media
Our site code does not add advertising trackers or an analytics tracking service. Hosting, security and content-delivery providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser details and request logs to deliver and protect the site. Some images, documents, scripts and videos are supplied from external services. Loading those resources or playing an embedded video can disclose technical information to that provider, which may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy. Browser settings can restrict cookies and local storage, although some features may then work differently.
Storage & retention
Enquiry emails are held in the systems used to manage correspondence. We keep personal information for the purpose for which it was provided and any applicable record-keeping obligations, rather than indefinitely without a reason. Service providers may process information outside New Zealand. Contact us if you need details about handling of a particular enquiry. No internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure; please contact us before sending sensitive material.
Access, correction & concerns
You may ask to access or correct personal information Archilight holds about you, or ask about deletion where applicable. Email us with enough detail to identify your enquiry; we may need to verify your identity. If we cannot resolve a privacy concern, you can contact the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner ↗.
Other websites & updates
When you follow a purchase link to our retailer ↗, information you provide there for orders, payments or after-sales support is handled by our retailer under its own privacy policy. Contact our retailer about information held by it. Manufacturer and video websites also have their own privacy policies.
